a phoenix- never ending cycle of birth and rebirth
one of the wings is a leaf of a fern- the fern can grow in most environments— whether it be in a drought or intense snow… i see it as overcoming adversity
last year around this time i was given 3 months by my doctors. i got it last may when i realized i was going to survive :)
